Die O Yogi Die

“You will be astonished when you hear Gorakh’s words. A little finishing is needed; they are uncut. This sharpening of the edges is what I am doing here. You will be amazed as you come to know him a little. Gorakh has said the most essential. He has said the most valuable.” Osho

“One death we are already familiar with, that death in which the body dies – but our ego and mind go on living. This same ego finds a new womb. This same ego, troubled bynew desires, again starts off on the journey. Even before leaving behind one body, it is

Talks on the great Tantra Master Gorakh

Live moment to moment. Then where is sadness?
Have you ever taken note of one thing, that the present is always juicy, the present is always blissful.
Whenever you become sad, just look at it, the sadness is either in reaction to the past or about the future. Worry and suffering are created either by what you wanted to do in the past and could not do, or by what you want to do in the future and don’t knowDie O Yogi Die whether you will be able to do or not……
“ Only this pure present remains which does not have even a shadow of thought .
But you are entangled in the past which does not exist and entangled in the future which has not happened yet.
Some people are past oriented, their eyes are fixed backwards. Some people are future oriented, their eyes are fixed ahead. And both are deprived of ’what is’.
And ’what is’, now, this very moment, is the manifestation of god.

Review Die O Yogi Die

Osho

REVIEW OF DIE O YOGI DIE

It is a great honour to present this brand-new Book to you and also a great pleasure. The content of Die O Yogi Die is new for me, although I read many Osho Books and also made reviews of them.
Because this is so special with Osho. He said farewell to us and left for the other shore already 14 years ago. Still there are published books, which contain totally new words of him. These books have been written in the original language, the Hindi language. And up to now there was no time to translate them. Because so many more books are translated and reprinted in the last 14 years, after Osho’s leaving the body, that Die O Yogi Die was still lying on the shelf, unavailable, because of the Hindi language…But now, now is the Moment!
The Book is translated and it is published in a rather mysterious look. You will notice that immediately.
The content of the book is about sayings of the Tantra Master Gorakh. Osho has great respect for Gorakh. He belongs for him among the four great mystics in the world, as there are Buddha, Patanjali, Krishna and Gorakh. Osho says: “Many mystics have built their vision on the insights of Gorakh, like far example Kabir. Gorakh is the raw diamond, the mystics after him have been polishing his ideas. And he created so many methods for the inner search that people talked about the “gorakhdhanda”; this is an intricate maze…because people were wondering: with so many methods, which is the right one? This word “gorakhdhanda” is still in use, as an expression that means: complex situation in which you have entangled yourself.”
Osho helps us to come out of this maze and to discover the value of Gorakh.
With Die O yogi Die, the title of the book, Gorakh is saying: die to your present state of being, just like Gorakh did! Right now you are a dewdrop, but you can become the ocean. Your consciousness has to become oceanic. Then you know the art of dying. And this way the art of dying is attaining to absolute life.
How to realize this…? Just disappear, disappear as an ego, disappear as a mind. But don’t do this in a serious way, be playful and laugh.
“Laughing, being playful is the knack of meditation”, Gorakh says. Life is a play and meditation is a divine play. Do not be sad and troubled, that is mind. And when you laugh and play, you will not disturb the mind, but you are in meditation.
Be aware of being miserable, because then you will get more misery. You become practiced in it, like in the following story.
One morning Mulla Nasruddin went coughing and sneezing to his doctor. The doctor asked:  “How are you doing? It seems you cough has improved.” Mulla said: “Of course it has improved. I have been practicing for three weeks!”
So, don’t practice misery, practice joy. That is the knack of meditation. And later in the book Gorakh says: “First the beginning, then the vessel, the recognition and the conclusion.” En Osho explains this as: “When recognition has happened, then you come to the conclusion, your enlightenment.”
So, what do we have to do? Osho says:  “First the inner journey, then the right care of the body, then the realization of consciousness, meditation, then enlightenment is the conclusion.”
If you do this much, you will become aware that you are an emperor, that the Master of Masters is sitting inside of you.”
I recommend this book to everybody who is not content to stay a beggar or a slave, but likes to die to that state and is longing to find the emperor, the Master inside: Die O Yogi Die

Impression of Die Yogi Die

“As an ego you have not gained anything, you have only lost. Creating the ego you have not received anything, you have lost all. You have remained a drop, a very tiny drop. The more arrogant you are the smaller you go on becoming. Conceit strengthens the ego more and more. The more you melt, the bigger you become; the more you dissolve, the greater you become. If you dissolve completely, if you evaporate completely, the whole sky is yours. Fall into the ocean – you become the ocean. Evaporated, rising in the sky – you become the sky. Your being is one with existence.

“The drop equals the ocean, what a miracle! Whom to tell?

“But when you experience it for the first time you too will be dumbstruck, like a dumb man eating sweets – the experience will be there, the taste will be there, the nectar will be showering inside, but you will have no way to express it.” Osho
